Interlibrary Loan: a Magazine or Journal Article

The Library will borrow books, magazine articles or other materials for any item not in the collection. Our goal is to find any and all information resources that are needed by the Moraine Valley community.

Interlibrary loan privileges are extended to all students, faculty and staff members with a valid identification card. Requests are usually processed on the same day and take a week to arrive at the library. Patrons will be notified of material arrivals by MVCC e-mail, a letter and/or a telephone call.

Reciprocal Borrowing lets Moraine Valley students, faculty, and staff check out books from libraries that are members of SMHEC, a regional consortium. Moraine Valley faculty, staff, and students with current, valid IDs can check out books from libraries at the following institutions:

Joliet Junior College

Kankakee Community College
Lewis University
Northwestern Business College
Prairie State College
Saint Xavier University
